The Gaming Standards Association, which was set up in 1998 as a non profit trade association with an international presence for those involved in gaming including operators, manufacturers, providers and regulators. Its aim is to provide benefits to all of its members while identifying, developing and then implementing standards for those in the gaming industry.

Recently it joined several well known groups such as Bally Technologies and International Game Technology as a platinum level member of the Gaming Standards Association.
