Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, owned by the Canadian hotel group of the same name, is a luxury hotel occupying part of the 39 floors in the Mandalay Bay Tower on the Strip. In contrast to almost all of the luxury hotels in Las Vegas, it doesn’t have a casino but it has many assets that mark it out as one of the world’s leading hotels.

History of the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

The Four Seasons Group was founded in 1960 by Isadore Sharp in Toronto, Ontario. The group now has a hundred hotel complexes in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. These are renowned for their excellent design, their comfort and elegance and this is particularly true for the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. As a result of a business agreement with MGM Resorts International, it was opened in March 1999 inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino which had opened on the Strip on the site of the old Hacienda Resort and Casino. The Four Seasons’ luxurious and refined 434 rooms and 81 suites are situated on floors 35 to 39 in the casino complexes 39 floor tower. The hotel’s rooms are accessed by three specially reserved private elevators. The luxuriously appointed rooms offer all that is needed for a comfortable stay: mini-bars, double showers, internet access, daily newspaper delivery etc. In 2007 the Four seasons Hotel Group was taken over by Bill Gates and Ben Talal who had the rooms completely redecorated some years later in an art deco style.

The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas’ other Attractions

In addition to its sumptuous rooms, the Four Seasons Hotel offers various attractions that make staying there a real pleasure. The complex has two superb restaurants : the Verandah with its Italian chef, Minichiello, offers a variety of Italian dishes in modern recently renovated surroundings and the Four Seasons’ Steak house serves the famous chef Charlie Palmer’s legendary dishes. For relaxation there is a large tropical swimming pool surrounded by palm trees. The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas’ main attraction is without doubt its superb spa awarded 5 stars by Forbes Magazine and offering a wide range of treatments and complete relaxation while staying in the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas.

Casino

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is different to the other luxury hotels on the Strip since it doesn’t have a casino but this makes it one of the calmest places in the city in contrast to the highly charged atmosphere in the Strip’s large hotel-casinos. However, by taking an elevator to level C, one can access the Mandalay Bay’s Casino 12 500m2 casino offering all the classic casino games.
